I need to get two cameras on a detached garage and thinking of using PLA ethernet adapters to get them on the network.
Has anyone used PLA's with good reliability?
If so, what model PLA did you use?

By PLA do you mean powerline?

I would use two nanostations if it’s relitively clear!

Yes, powerline. (https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-powerline-networking-kit/)
The house is brand new and owner doesn't want any wiring/ conduit showing in the area we need to get to. There are no extra wires anywhere near I need them.
It seems to be powerline adapters or wireless cameras. I need to pick the lesser of two evils it seems.........

Have you tested powerline adapters at your site? I rarely use them but always test first to make sure the adapters will find each other and connect. I’d prefer a wireless p2p bridge over power line any day.

None, between the house and garage. No chance of trenching or conduit.
The house was just "built" by a developer/ flipper. Only one rg6 and cat5 per each room, and they forgot to run to demarc. So they ran one wire to the closest jack via crawl space. Totally crap for low voltage systems. I can get some wires via crawl space for the front cameras but no way to get to the detached garage. The "builder" did nothing extra, for $2.8 mil, really disappointing. I wish certain low voltage/ data wiring was actually required per code, everybody would be better off!!!

How about an Eero mesh system and ethernet out to a switch for those 2 cameras.

I've used the DLINK AV1000 units for about two months now with great results. Transporting two 3MP IP cameras at 15 Frames/sec about 175 feet on 10/2 underground wire. I wouldn't make any guarantees until you can test the installation site and possible setup dedicated outlets for the adapters. I'd also bump up to the AV2000 units if I did it again since they add the ground pin and have more data bandwidth for the future.

I've used the Trendnet ones in just such an application and they've been working flawlessly for about 3 years

I would not trust powerline going between buildings.
