Same thing happened here recently.

Tornado's ripped the east side area apart. That area is mostly black, and mostly poor.

Yes, there was an amazing amount of complaining, but there was also an amazing amount of the best in people coming out.

Sadly we will always have those that will complain, but thankfully we have many more that will jump in and help.

The whiners will whine, and the winners will win.

Ya, I gotta say I don't want my tax dollars going to Puerto Rico, Pakistan, Nigeria, Mexico or even Canada. How about we help our own people first. Feel free to go to Puerto Rico to help them out as I'm sure they give 2 fuks about you FatSlyce.

Golden stop complaining about other peoples complaints, you don't know their situation. Maybe they need electricity cause their Medication needs to be refrigerated, or their electrical appliances that keep them alive. Babies that need milk or formula heated, not everybody has a gas stove.

I'll be watching for the Youtube video since you care so much about this.

I really hope you didn’t mean what you wrote and were just being sly. Otherwise I hope you read every word of what I’m about to say.

You selfish entitled useless piece of shit. You are no better then the rest of the people bitching and angry that they can’t get electricity or the fact that mikes life has been turned upside down and can’t have him install things. You are no better then the trust fund attitude as mentioned above, in fact your disgusting post wreaks of that mentality.

What happened in his neck of the woods was an identical situation that happened to me at the beginning of March, only to make matters worse it was cold out. 7 people died in the storms, people were stuck in their homes for days because they physically could not get out of their homes. We lost power for 3.5 days and the only reason why we got it back sooner was because we were declared a disaster zone. But most of the area was down for close to a week.

The entire area was without power, trees blocking main roads 20 feet at a time. It took days for them to even get the roads clear enough that the power crews could get in. We had two large trees go down that blocked the road in front of my house so we were even stuck. The only reason we could get out is because I’m lucky enough to have a tractor and a chainsaw. The storm was crippling and I’m not kidding, we went hungry for a day because we could not get out of the house to a store or fast food until the third day.

Which brings me to your comment. Until you live through a disaster like what happened to us and to people around the world it’s easy to sit back and just say, meh, never will happen to me. Until it does. People have no other hope other then to rely on neighbors and people they have never met. When governments and critical infrastructure help physically cannot get in and out of an area you are crippled. You quickly realize how much you take for granted and in the same breathe you also realize you have to fend for yourself. And in these situations when alarms don’t work, law enforcement can’t get to you you have to deal with unscrupulous people looking for easy things to steal. (9mm is your best friend in this situation)

To make an already extremely stressful situation worse I had some clients outside of the area furious at the fact I had to reschedule them, not only because I physically couldn’t get to them, but also because I had my own home and family to deal with. And it took basically a day to get cell service back.

I don’t wish anyone to go through a natural disaster like what we did, what others go through and what Mike and his neighbors are going though. Some people in PR are still without power.

I do however wish an entitled prick like your self gets thrown into a natural disaster area and your the LAST to get help.

Fred Rogers was much better at getting messages like that across. He was smart enough to talk to the kids, not talk down to the kids, and he didn't need to risk parents turning off the show by mentioning Jesus.

In 2007 the job of lineman ranked one of the most dangerous jobs in the nation. At an average of 35 deaths for every 100,000 linemen on the job, it ranked way more dangerous than police, fire, or military. They go out in the middle of the storm, work all hours, and basically ever task they perform has the potential for killing. And one of the best ways to raise that rate higher is to have exhausted and fatigued people on the job.

I would be interested in a survey of the age of the people who complained.
Because I live in a cold state and generator is a must have. period.

You can't even type his name. What are you afraid of?

and/or

Of course he has no power with your peoples. Your peoples reject him. Is this at all difficult to understand?

I guess they did not teach you Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory. U.S. here is short for United States, which is short for United States of America.

I hope you don't reproduce.

I'm staying out of the fray....I'll only add this...

My wife and I were talking the other day about power outages. We had a pretty good thunderstorm that knocked out power to around 500,000.

Everyone was back online within 2 days.

Personally, I think that's incredible. Sure, I know that once they get the trees out of the way, they're bring 10's of thousands back online at a time, but it still impresses the sh!t out of me.

Thanks for showing what a dick you are. I applaud you for being such an amazing and compassionate human being. I know that every single person in town is in the same situation with lack of power. If you rely on electricity for medical reasons, get a generator. If you don't have one, call police and they will get you out of there and to the help you need. The people working to fix the power infrastructure are working ROUND THE CLOCK yet it's ok to bitch about them "sitting around" to drink a cup of coffee? Okkkkkk!!!!!

Go get a generator grandma for your meds, but I'm the dick. Waaaaaaaa. Goldens suck.

You do know that Puerto Rico is part of the US right? Or is it only help white americans with you???

In 2009, Puerto Rico paid $3.742 billion into the US Treasury and more in 2010, 2011 etc

Blacks need help here too, maybe if we cared more about them than arabs on the other side of the world then life here would be better.

I have lived through a natural disaster, it was the genocide of my people and the theft of a generation. I don't have to apologize to the likes of you east coast crybabies that think people complaining the power is out is a worthy endeavor that has your pussy hurting. Go ask your grandmother what the tattoo on her forearm is for if you want to know about real suffering. Until that day grow some nuts and quit being such little bitches about every small thing that comes along. Oh ya your bitch still isn't president. I got plenty more, keep crying.
