Does any one know of an audio switcher with control eg. IP, RS232, Low voltage contact ?

What i want to do is have 2 amplified sources (2x sets of speaker cable in) going in and be able to decide which one gets fed to the speakers (1x set of speaker cable out).

Ive been trying with a Sonance AS2, but this is a sensing switcher which switches to what ever source is louder, id prefer something with actual control, as with the AS2 depending on the audio it may not switch 100% of the time.

Niles piece has been around for a very long time and works.
I have also used a few items from RDL and they get put into a system and then you can forget about them.

+3 for the Niles Switcher

Always a device I forget about when designing a system as it isn't one that gets installed too much anymore. At my old company we used these all the time for distributed audio/home theatre systems. Connected to either the surround or surround back speakers rather than having to switch sources on the home theatre amp and requiring analog inputs, just place this guy in between and when the home theatre is off it defaults to the distributed audio system. Down side is it takes a zone from the distributed audio system so you have to plan for additional distributed audio zones.
You can't fix stupid
