We are replacing some existing blinds that feature Somfy Mercure 3/30 motors.

We have removed the non drive end and have managed to slide the roller tube off of the motor, but for the life of me I cant see how the drive end unclips from the ceiling bracket.

Naturally there is a pelmet in front of it which seriously restricts viewing access so I don't have a full view of everything, but I can see reasonably well straight up from the bottom. There is a square end to the drive that goes into the bracket. I am not sure if this is attached to the drive or to the bracket.

I cannot find any instructions for this motor online and I guess as they were fitted 12 years ago they have long been superseded.

Anyone dealt with these before and know the secret to detaching them?

I have left a message for Somfy support, but we are not a dealer (and are in fact replacing them with Lutron shades) so I don't know if they will even give me any info if and when they call me back.
What do you mean you wanted it on the other wall - couldn't you have mentioned this when we prewired?
