I have a KX-TA824 system with KX-T7736 phones. I need to page an extension, and they be able to hear the person at the paged extension.
If I press *33 + group number I can speak, but cannot hear the user on the other end. Is there a way to allow the paged extension to speak without picking up the phone or pressing anything?
I set the groups up that one phone is in each group.
There's got to be a better way to page a single extension and listen.

I vaguely remember 48 or 84 being involved in something like this. Sorry, I threw out those manuals about six months ago.

Turn on auto answer on the extensions, then page by the three digit extension number.

What Joe says. Auto answer function on 7720, 7731 and 7736 phones works on intercom calls.
