I want to connect a nintendo switch to a TV via an HDMI. I watched a short tutorial on youtube and it seems pretty straight forward, basicly put nintendo switch into a dock, connect the dock to TVs HDMI and provide power via USB.

But my TV is on a sideboard / TV unit with closed doors at the front like this : [Link: pinterest.co.uk]

Can i put the Nintendo switch and the dock in the closed cupboard doors below ? Will the controllers still be able to communicate wirelessly to the Nintendo Switch ?

I havnt been given the device to install yet so i cant try it out.

The Nintendo controllers use RF to communicate with the Switch, so it should work unless the materials eat the signal.

I did an install where the equipment is in a closet above the room with the TV. Switch worked fine through the floor.
