My daughter wants a set of over the ear headphones. I’d prefer to keep these under $100 because she already has two sets of the LG earbuds. Even if I give in to more expensive, I just can’t bring myself to buying a product that was created by Monster then bought by Apple. What other options should I look at?

Fins, I just bought a pair of Sony's last week, I can't stand them...I swapped them for some Grados that will be here this week.    Happy to send the Sony's over...Otherwise they're going to collect dust and then get thrown out.

To be clear...The grados that I bought aren't bluetooth...The Sony's are.

This 1. drive the point home and 2. didn't know Grado even had Bluetooth head phones.

BB had them on sale..They were regularly $80'ish.  I paid $40-$45 I think.

Here they are..

In their defense...they sound ok.....But I have an abnormally large head..It's deceptively large. :)

Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...

I have a bunch of buddies who work in radio, that's all they'll put on their heads..You want to talk about a group of headphone snobs...holy mackerel.  I'm certain that the radio industry is single-handedly keeping  Sennheiser in business.

I used to work in radio (7.5 years) and everyone ran AKG's...
Now the jocks all wear what they're sponsored to have on their heads.
The voice artists bring their own cans in, they can vary wildly...
This industry is not getting cheaper and cheaper, we're simply convincing ourselves that we have to push the cheapest option to customers.

Yeah, but they're about the best sounding things out there, them and Grado!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I just bought a cheap Monoprice one because I plan on using them for lawn mowing etc. They don't sound too bad IMO. I didn't know they even branded any Bluetooth headphones until I started looking at reviews on Amazon. If they don't get too dirty I'll use them on the plane also. So far battery life seems ok also. SonicSolace Active Noise Cancelling for around $55.

I got these for my wife a few years ago. They're pretty nice, sound good, are comfortable and the battery lasts for several days:

I use the Sennheiser Urbanites. More $$ but I used them for everything from travel - mowing the lawn- late night theater- and of course music.
