I forgot write down brand of this cabinet ,only what I know it works with small original RF remote. No other jacks on main box for the lifter. Is it possible to learn RF code to some universal remote? What can I do , if I want to control it by MX850?? I did not deal with this kind of furniture yet. Thank you for help. Robert

You need to use a different approach.

The RF remote HAS to open and close relays to lift and lower the lift. Hopefully you can just get into the guts of the lift, figure out how it is controlled, remove the RF control and replace it with relay control. The Xantech CC12, which is one DPDT relay, or the CC62, which is six DPDT relays, will probably work for you. That unit is IR controlled.

After you get the exact brand and model information, and you call the factory to see what it takes to convert to IR control, try finding Dave Houston (his member name here) and email him. He specializes in RF of all sorts and would have the yea or nay, but needs ALL the info, including the FCC ID number.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Ernie !! Thank you so much for this , module in the cabinet has up and down buttons , so I hooked-up CC62 on these two buttons and all works just great.I use MX-850 with RF - my customer is really happy. Thanks again for your help. Robert

You are SOOOOOOOOOOOO lucky! I have seen one or two of these things where the customer did not know to order it with minimal control, and the circuitry not only cost them several hundred dollars, but it was hell to get into it and convert it to something easy.
