Anyone else experiencing this? I have one unit that whenever there is a new firmware notification the unit locks up and doesn't allow the client to use it. Installing the new firmware resolves the issue but the fact that the unit knows there is a new firmware to be installed shouldn't break the functionality of the unit.

We have multiple of these units installed and it is only happening on one unit so I know it isn't an issue with all players.

At this time No, I haven't contacted tech support, but when I get to site I will start a case with them as I can send them the log file of the unit.
You can't fix stupid

Can't help unfortunately, as I don't install Autonomic.

But the situation reminds me of f-ing Apple. Whenever we use the IPad as an interface and it sees an available update, all settings get ignored until its updated.

PITA when the display is to remain on at all times for conference rooms. Now we kill internet access to all of their IPs so they can't even see them.

I've done lots of Autonomic, but not a very large sample size for the MMS-1E. For what it's worth, no issues. If I were there onsite I would probably factory default it as that is usually the first step tech support will have you do.

Check your DNS settings too, I've seen odd things happen if it can't reach a particular server. Use openDNS or something.

Hi SWOInstaller,

I am the Audio Product Manager at SnapAV. This is certainly not expected functionality, and we definitely want to know what is happening in this circumstance. If you could please reach out to our tech support team, they would be more than happy to assist.
