When I do these kind of lists in my mind, I can be objective between what is my favorite and what do I feel is the best of all time.
Best of all time should consider airplay, popularity, sales and influnence a particulate album had.
My short list, in no particular order:
Allman Bros - Live at the Filmore East Frampton Comes Alive Little Feat - Waiting for Columbus (my fav) Who-Live at Leeds Bob Seeger - Live Bullet Woodstock - Vol 1 Jimi- Band of Gypsies
This off the cuff. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few (Stones, Greatful Dead)

Of the above list, I'm torn between Live at the Filmore and Woodstock. Both were monumental and hugely influential. Obviously Woodstock was an influential event but the album was a big success as was the movie (in its day).
Monterey Pops was also very influential as an event (launched Jimi's career and introduced The Who to America) But Monterey Pops was not released as an album until several decades later, so the recordings as an album were not influential at the time.

Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin II Houses of the holy Physical Graffiti In through the out door --------------- LAYLA - Derek and the dominos ------------------------- Allman Brothers - eat a peach -------------------------------- Fleetwood Mac - Rumours ---------------------------- Eagles Live ------------------------
Frampton Comes Alive and Kiss Alive are top 5, but they have an commonality to me, both albums are a magic moment in time and I still spin them today, but both bands studio albums are deplorable, cant listen to them, with the exception of Destroyer, and I 100% tuned out any of their material after that.
Both albums are in my first five albums purchased.
Interesting. I forgot about "Made In Japan" but it definitely should be on the short list. Get your Yia Yias Out too.
The Last Waltz is a fav of mine but not sure it was really that influential, but certainly had a heavy line up of stars. I really like the BluRay remaster and highly recommend fans watch the movie if you've not seen it.
