Have run into a couple of jobs where the Bell Fibe remotes are Bluetooth. Are any of their receivers IR anymore ?

You can disable bluetooth by removing remote batteries and rebooting box. You can use a particular Arris code set to control it by IR once Bluetooth is disabled.

Note that the other non PVR Fibe box uses a different code set all together.

Furthermore if you keep the DVR unplugged and put batteries into the Bluetooth remote, it will send out IR signals that can be captured
