Anyone have experience with these panels, specifically the 86BDL3050Q, BDL8470QU or BDL8470EU? I can get these panels at a fairly reasonable price. I only require one HDMI input and RS-232 for control (Crestron control system). The only other commercial panel I can get at that size and is 4K is a Panasonic, and it is about double the cost of the Philips panels.

Yes there are residential panels available which I will price. YES I know the warranty limitations to these panels and how they become void when installed into a commercial facility (if they want to void their warranty all I can do is inform them).

Back story:
I have been asked to provide pricing for an ~85" panel to be installed into a presentation room. The room is quite large 40' x 38' and I have already quoted a projector and screen. However, I met with the client this morning and we were on a conference call with one of their US offices (we are in Canada) and the guy in the US office suggested an 85" TV as opposed to the projector. A TV was originally discussed when I started this process and was shot down, stating they want a projector and screen.

Could you please provide input to these Philips panels if you have used them before?

I sell them, and they appear to be a responsible company. I am impressed by warranty and defective product policy.

Fred, is the warranty void if they're installed in a commercial facility?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

No, the commercial series products are intended for that application. They offer in the US a three year warranty with attractive exchange offers. Your mileage may vary, depending on who you source from.

Philips has commercial and consumer TV's, light bulbs, tooth brushes under their brand name. Probably more, too, but that's what I know about right now.
