They have to have realized that there are two discrete words, discrete and discreet, and their meanings are totally unrelated to one another.

Here's an example of the subject at hand: at [Link: remotecentral.com], crosen tells us how to remote reboot POE devices.

Is your're link pointing to the right thread? I can't find discreet or discrete anywhere in their.

Burton, that post consists of two parts in two paragraphs. Paragraphs are often used to show that a separate topic is being discussed, and in fact are required when the subject under discussion changes.

The first paragraph, which is one sentence, comments on the words discrete and discreet.

New topic: The second paragraph calls attention to the subject at hand, which is a request for the presentation of questions in the form of a question rather than as a statement. See that "subject at hand"? That's a direct reference to the subject of the thread. Discrete and discreet were not the subject of the thread, so, not the subject at hand.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I'm confused as to whether the title of this thread is a statement or a question...
