Does any one know of a surge protected Intelligent PDU (with LAN GUI and API) ?

I can find loads of non Surge protected PDUs for use with a UPS, and loads of surge protected "dumb PDUS" essentially racked mounted surge protected extension leads. But not a surge protected Intelligent PDU.

I think SnapAV make a watt box product in the USA, but i dont think its available in the UK.

APC has plenty of options that are available in the UK.

This is directed at everybody, not just james_aa:

If you want some knowledge transferred to you, would you be so kind as to frame the title of your post as a question? As, for instance, don't title a thread "Intelligent PDU with surge protection." Instead title it "Where can I find an Intelligent PDU with surge protection?"

It's probably just me, but when I read the thread title "Intelligent PDU with surge protection," I think that means the thread presents information about the thing.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Why can't you just open a thread and close it if it doesn't please you? Your post cost you more time and it won't change anything because t was directed at only those who read this thread.
