I dont see why you couldn't use Nexus's "mantel mount" and just mount the tv "Upside Down"

I'm Not an engineer, but I play one on TV. My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird. |

Probably because of gravity. I would assume the mantle mount works using gravity to lower it. If you flip it over, I doubt it has anything to make it stay in place. There is a spring (or strut) that you adjust to balance the tv. You can adjust the tv to any height and it will stay there!

If you want one like that one, then one of those would be it. Why are you looking for a different product? Is that one discontinued?

thanks! i'll call them tomorrow. Ive used this and it works well. There is a safety cotter pin that has to be removed in order for the TV to fold all the way down. I did not read the instructions well and thought the mount kind of sucked until I realized the error of my ways.
