Only "diamond" has the DBS system. we dont use that cable often as its gets quite pricey for very little(if any) gain.

So, you actually sell them, even though no gain can be proved? The founder of Audioholics has a standing request for them to send some of their cables for testing. To date, this hasn't happened.

Batteries on a wire that doesn't contact the circuit? Really? $1250.00 for a 6' HDMI, $6995.99 for a 2m audio cable (pair)?

I wonder, do the AQ HDMI cables sweat that oily crap just like their component video cables always did?

Man, those things were the worst. I would rather deal with Monster trash.

In 2005, I had to terminate some of the AQ crimpless component cable and found that the center conductor was only 24 ga. Couldn't get it to go in without bending to save my life, even though I watched their propaganda video.

I don't know how their Diamond cables can be great- they don't even use high end batteries! They just use the same kind as a garage door opener or keyless entry for a car!

That’s just the snake oil trying to escape...Even it didn’t feel it was worth being in there.

I have had two AQ cables not able to do the 4k that they said they would. Once was replaced with an Ethereal MHX and HD-GA1, and the other one we move the 4-k Roku to behind the TV. I didn't supply the AQ cables, but I did supply the Ethereal ones ;)

Nothing like the feel of being rogered by someone selling a cable.

Are you referring to this?

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Really Guys?
Velox Passive (8 Meters true 18 Gbps)
Velox Passive (w/GA1 22 Meters True 18 Gbps)

Absolutely the best.

I did have one the of the tech test the new Velox active with a Xbox 1X and he said that the 15M Velox was a better picture than the provided Xbox cable.

Since your customer probably wants a "pretty" cable I would at least get some thing that will work.

I don't see Audioquest on the list. For the money they charge they should at least get their cables approved so you know it is likely to work. I do think Velox is a "pretty" cable that is also well engineered but beauty is in the eye of the holder.

Wow, you're an idiot.

Completely disregard everything we say and still want to sell him a monoprice cable in a pretty jacket. I hope Brent doesn’t help your sorry ass when your back is against the wall on this one.
