A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I had a TV like that growing up. I was 16 when we got our first color TV. 26 glorious inches. Playing Atari on a black and white TV was a pita.

We got our first color TV the day of the first Moon landing. Before that, we had a 20" Admiral B&W.

Atari? We had Pong.

I googled 'TV broadcast of the first Moon landing'- why are people still insisting that the Earth is flat?

The Earth is both flat and round. Like a quarter.

I wish you were happier in your life.
You will probably be a happier person if you can control yourself from being negative. Practicing being negative just strengthens your bad feelings. Who the hell needs that?

Take some time each day to think about what's happening, who you know, who you love, who loves you, and for each such thing you think of, be grateful. THAT is a way to be happier.

I seem to be a test case for you: is Fins in control of himself enough to keep from harming himself by not being negative?

But, in edge view the quarter is no longer round.

Ernie, I originally meant the comment as a joke. Most guys would get that. However, after your touchy feels rant like some twigs and berries eating kumbaya singing hippy, I’ve changed my mind and now mean it. Thanks.

TV broadcast of the first Moon landing'

My grandfather didn't believe it was real since it was on TV. Apparently that was a pretty common view.

It wasn't a good enough joke to get. Too bad.

Sometimes you seem quite down. I was just trying to suggest something that might help.

And NEVER forget that there is no sarcasm font!

When I was growing up, we didn't own a TV.
When I was in my early teens we got one, but with only 1 national channel, there was never anything good on anyways.
I remember learning about Chernobyl on TV 2 weeks after the government made us start eating iodine.
