First, I just want to say that I believe these Solar Freaken Roadways are a complete failure. Sure, they may be able to produce power. But no where near the amount as if the solar panel was installed on the roof.

Anyways... take a look at the TV that was installed at this display. So far, I only watched a minute of this video. But got a very good laugh at the TV install.

Ever watch "Castle"? That's the actor who played Castle, and the looks on his face in this video are exactly what he uses to convey confusion and not knowing what to do.

I could only stand to watch six minutes.

They don't mention what driving will be like in the rain over a surface that's 2" strips of sandpaper at various angles separated by 15" sections of slick glass.

Funny and patheic.

In other news of the wildly misguided, some folks are trying to get Los Angeles animal shelters to put the dogs in them on vegan diets. Let's just ignore that dogs are wolves and have evolved to eat and, more importantly, digest, uncooked meat and bone. You'd think people who believe solely in evolution would pay attention to the state of how the critters have evolved!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

It's such a f'n joke. Yet these idiots keep throwing money at them, hilarious. You should check out his other videos, amazing what people will try to sell and actually receive money for. People are scary stupid.

Hmmmm Trying to get traction on glass....
Sun glare on glass...
Heat generated by driving on an oven...
Semi trucks driving on glass...
Snow and ice on glass...
Take every parking lot and cover it with panels and that way the cars can park in shade while electricity is generated.
Solar panels to power a society are woefully inefficient and environmentally catastrophic.

I grew up around highway construction. I watch these videos promoting these solar road panels and can’t list all the problems with the whole idea. And mine don’t even include the problems listed in the above video.
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.

This deserves its own thread. It's got one at [Link: remotecentral.com]
