As most of you know i am not very good with words so bare with me. The Arterburry family is really going through some drama right now. The kid is fighting Leukemia as her home is being swallowed up by a sink hole. They need your help. Donate whatever you can if you can.

Earlier this year my brother passed. He was in the hospital for a few months. The emotional toll was horrible...followed closely by financial stress. I spent a thousand dollars a month visiting the hospital. Driving back and forth, eating every meal out, hotel rooms when we just didn't have it in us to make the 2 hour drive between home and the city. I was lucky because my boss really stepped up (like he always does) and gave me the time off i needed and paid me anyway. I'm tearing up right now just thinking about it. I cant even imagine what i would have done if my house disappeared. Believe me when i tell you that every dollar helps. You're going to get every cent of it back every time Fiona smiles.

Thanks everyone and Merry Christmas.

Who are the Arterburry's Mac?   I saw your name on the GoFundMe, but I also saw it was created by Chris Hall?  Also a member here, unless it's just a coincidental name?

Chris Hall created it. I saw it on facebook and shared it here without his knowledge or permission. Chris is a stand up guy so i trust anything he says or does. Reading the story hit home because its the holidays and i know what its like to be a long for the ride when a a loved one is fighting for their life.

Thanks.
It's one part of life that you can't really prepare for emotionally even though you know it will happen.

Mac.

My son was born 3 months early and spent those three months in an NICU. Our family has had to endure everything that goes with that. I won't go into too much detail as this is your stage. But know that I get it. I understand.

And I'm in.

Craig.

Yep, Chris is a great guy as well as a customer of mine.  Let's get this done for him. Guys, they're only $450 away from their goal now.  That's 9 of us with $50.   (for those of you who are mathematically challenged).

Looks like they upped it, as they are now about 5K away from their goal.

Thanks Mac! This was setup by my wife for her aunt and uncle. We appreciate everything that has been done.

Here is a little more info. A few years ago, Uncle and Aunt 60ish, adopted their grand children, twins, Harmony and Fiona. They have also adopted grand daughter Emily, 9, who has autism. Aunt's mom, 90ish, also lives with them.

a few weeks ago Fiona was diagnosed with leukemia, the worst one you can get. Then last Saturday, they found out their house is falling into a sinkhole and the state evicted them from their home. as you can see, they have their hands full. My wife spent last week with them while I got to stay home with the flu. They are so grateful for everyone that has donated. They just couldn't get over how complete strangers have helped out.

I know a lot people on this forum and knowing you all have helped out is a true blessing. I appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers, and donations. Happy Holiday's and Merry Christmas!
