Ok guys, I recently purchased some video making software and I've been itching to do something with it. The complaints about the Sonos app and the calls you're getting from customers got me to thinking I might be able to help in some way.
I didn't script it, so don't beat me up too much on it.. I just threw it together quickly in hopes it might help somebody. I don't say any company names, so feel free to use it in anyway you'd like.
The obvious ways to use it would be
1. copy the link somehow so you can forward to whomever calls. 2. embed it on your website, so you could tell a caller, "go to our website and..." 3. Post it on your company Facebook page..Have customer go there and watch and like your page...
Hopefully it can help someone, but disclaimer I'm a rookie at tutorial videos.
I won't be using it as I sell HEOS, however; it's awesome that you would put in this effort for a bunch of random people, some of which may actually complain, haha.
Thanks very much for trying help us!

My main hobby is model trains and I got together with a local club at a show a couple months ago. A friend had been bugging me to go for a long time. I met people who's handles I'd known for years and no one looked anything like I thought. Not even the Ernie. Every group has one. I for one am glad we do because they tend to be very knowledgeable people who want to contribute. In our train forum it's I'd sooner do away with the guys that just shit on everyone. I'm still at the point where I'm mostly taking from this group as there are so many who are so much more advanced than me, including Ernie. I'm hoping at some point I get to where I can give back more when the new crop comes in.
Anyway yeah it would funny to see how many people on this forum we've encountered. I know there's one or two near me.

Hmm. I have not received a single call for help from any of our clients who I know use the SONOS app. And I have been in contact with several of them since the update was released. Not a peep. I guess they must be a bit less technologically challenged than other folks.
We put together some pretty elaborate instruction guides for some of our clients. Laminated and bound books with step by step for how to watch TV or VCR, play CDs, radio, etc. So yes there are people out there who will need something like this. It is sad. :)

On another post [Something Easier Than Sonos] guys were saying their customers were blowing up their phones over the new app, so I figured I'd try and help them out.
