I am an installer but I also do Tv repair work which can involve pulling up service menus. Is anyone out there using a mx450 with factory service remote codes programed into it? Is there anywhere on this site where i can find factory service remote codes?

First, I will answer your question, and the answer is no.

But when you do service codes, those are not normally discrete codes, aren't they just two or three simultaneous button presses to get to secret menus? I doubt that anyone is going to produce discrete codes for service menu items, but I could be wrong.

Simultaneous button presses will probably result in a single, unpublished IR code being emitted. Likely, this code could be learned.

Likely, the use of such a code will be unknown.

Let's say one code opens a service menu. Your TV is now a service menu brick until you work out the code to get out of it. How will you know what code gets you out if it just happens that a code you try puts you deeper into the service menu?

Each set of codes has 256 codes. Why? Well, think of the possibilities!

You have to try out all the codes, then combinations of the codes. Again, think of the possibilities!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
