Can anyone verify that RTI IP control won't work for the following Sony TVs

My understanding is that Sony doesn't officially IP support on KD TVs from the last couple of years. 2015 was the last? However, some people have reported that it does work. I have never tried it myself.
Personally, I probably would not try it in a customers home. Even if it does work now there is no guarantee that Sony won't drop it in a firmware update since it is not a published/supported feature.

I tried Ip control on a few jobs. I switched all of them over to 232. The other very good option for sony is to learn the "tv" Button it turns on tv and sets it to a input you chose from the settings if you have to use ir and using a avr and only need one input.
