I was an early adopter to Breaking Bad so hopefully that gives me some street cred.

Dammit this show is good.  Make sure the kids aren't in the room.

I just finished the 1st season...

Yep, stumbled across it a couple months ago and was quickly hooked. Was bummed once I had burned through season one. The characters and acting are great! Especially the young derelict tennage chick.

Bloodline is al kind a of similar in its tempo. Got hooked on that one too - but definitely had to make it through the first 2-3 episodes.

Exactly

Great show. Jason Bateman is perfect in this one.

I watched Ozark a couple months ago. I thought it was OK, but not fantastic. Netflix has been slipping.
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.

With that comment, I'm wondering what else I'm missing.

Well, I really like Marco Polo. And GLOW was pretty good. I also like the Ranch, for a sitcom.

I have 2 cats (I'm not a proud man).  Aptly named Marco and Polo.  I should probably start there..  I assume the show isn't about cats.

Ozark is filmed on Lake Allatoona about 30 miles north of Atlanta. My first house, which my brother now lives in, is located next door to the old bar in the series. The producers bought the bar and marina on the lake, and “aged” it for the series. They are constantly looking for extras. One advertisement was for extras to float in the water, drink beverages and act like you’re having a good time. Would have been a great gig had it not been November when the water temperature will make certain parts seek refuge in your abdomen. Cool seeing familiar places on the big screen.

I drove past the Blue Cat (6979 Bells Ferry Rd Canton, GA) the other day, and thought about this thread.... its about 35 miles from my house....

Sometimes its fun to have these around, but then you get someone who slams on their brakes and recognized the bar and you almost rear end them.
If you can't be good, be good at it.
