What a PIA. Trying this out at home first.
Went through process. Sonos skill is enabled, Sonos is discovered.
Multiple logins to Amazon, Sonos. nothing but enless loop
Me - Alexa - play sonos Alexa - enable sonos skill Me - discover devices Alexa - no new smart home devices
Now I'm shouting at the bot. At least tvs wouldn't talk back. Anybody have a solution?

Are you sure that the Sonos skill was enabled on the same Amazon account that your Amazon device is associated with? On the Alexa app (also using the same Amazon account as your device), you can go to the menu and look at "Smart Home" and see if you see your Sonos device listed under "Devices".
