I grew up with carbs and points!

I'll take the "new" electronically managed drive trains any day over "old school".

More efficient,easier to troubleshoot,better mpg,no over heating,fires right up,
AND......my dream motor, to replace my 550 hp carbed small block in my Vette...

I've done this retro for others quite a few times!
Perfection with pump gas.
No more 110 octane in 5 gallon jugs!!

Sorry to hear about your other truck.

Troubleshooting was a breeze. I pushed that blue button on the rear view mirro and said “my check engine light is on” I was sent an email with the code, and so was the dealership. I understand why my mother who acts like a pauper pays for the full OnStar service.

I got a 17 Colorado z71. The incentives and their motivation to move the 17’s were too good to pass up. With nationwides’s generosity I got a upgrade over my Frontier.

I got the same thing 3 weeks ago 0% interest was too good to pass up. I got the 4 door in white. Did you get the Costco discount?

I don’t have a Costco membership. But since my wife homeschools the kids we got the educator discount. It’s probably about the same amount. I got the dark gray. I think the MyLink system is the best factory entertainment/nav system that’s ever been in a factory system. They finally created a GUI that isn’t painful to use.oh, and surprisingly, the voice control actually works.

Really?? I hated the MyLink system that was in my Tahoe that we just passed in as the lease was up.

We purchased it 3 years ago, so maybe things got better, but I despised the way it worked.

GUI design was fine but the processing was pitiful.

I was looking at the Colorado's for the same reason. I almost had a deal worked out but didn't pull the trigger. Great truck.

My dad had an upholstery shop in the '50s-'60s and said a local dealer had called to ask how much it would cost to have this done and when he was told they were on a car ferry that had flooded on the way from Detroit and that he wanted to sell them to a dealer out of the area, he told the guy he wasn't interested. This was in the late-'50s.

THAT is a good man!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

It still has some slow moments, but imo, it’s much better than anything else before it, at least domestically or Asian. I remember the first Escalade my parents bought that had a touch screen system. The confusion between the GUI on the screen and hard buttons and knobs was dangerous. Their current enclave probably has the same as your Tahoe. Layout is better, but yeah, it is slow. The rental F150 I drove for two weeks had synch and it was so bland I didn’t even want to try to use it. I played with it for about 10 minutes and decided it sucked.
