I just registered to gain access to Samsung's CI program. In the meantime, does anyone know if there is a specific IR codeset to the Frame TV? If you have had your hands on one of these you already know one button is OFF/ON/Art mode involving press and holds. Just stupid. There are 232 options for the Art feature. IR anyone?

Another thing about this TV...
The art mode is A+
TV mode is F
how in the hell does ernie make money?

Typical Samsung codes from last few years.

Discrete On = On
Discrete Off = Art Mode
Hold Power ~2s = Off

Old thread, new issue.

Frame TV QN65 model. CEC working fine with Sonos BEAM. URC remote controls the volume with codeset 656, the standard Samsung codes.

For some odd reason, the XR11 Comcast remote will not control the TV power or volume. Was fine with old LG TV.

I'm about to try an XR2 for test. Is there any reason you can think of where the XR11 would not be controlling the TV?

In case you are wondering, the URC remote is primary, but many clients use the Comcast remote for the microphone "GO TO ESPN" so I make sure both are working.

Edit: Likely Comcast remote defective.

FWIW - the IR receiver is on the Frame, not the One Connect box. The box doesn't have an IR receiver in it, but it does have an IR blaster for devices that you plug into the box that are IR controlled. So it's weird to have to run the ONE CONNECT wire...then an emitter too.

So is that blaster always enabled, or is it enabled in the Samsung menus?

It was a strange day with that frame TV. After I figured out that Xfinity remote was actually defective, after the customer told me his kids like to use it for a hammer, that changed things.

I had an intermittent URC base station that had me going in circles too. Then, I couldn’t get it to work with the Comcast box unless it was sent to both IR and RF output. Finally, a live update seem to fix that problem. Weird day.

Not sure. I suspect it's always enabled, but doesn't do anything until you go through the Universal Remote setup in the menu and actually make it control something.

I also ran around in circles for a bit when I was getting that One Connect box to control an Arris STB, using the blaster. It was a DCX-3625 or something like that, and I was selecting the exact model number that was on the STB, but it didn't work. In the One Connect setup, there was also a DCX-3625-W which ended up working, though that variant of the model number was no where in or oaroudn my box. Kind of frustrating.
