I was just reading the story a few minutes ago...One of the best pitchers of his generation, no doubt about it. I'd even turn into a miserable Phillies game just to watch him throw.
Seemed like a class act.
Finally was able to get his pilots license, buys the plane of his dreams, then crashes it. What a horrible story.
was so bummed to see this yesterday. As a pilot I can tell you that flying over water is tricky. Guess we'll find out soon how much experience he had with it and what actually happemed
