I have 6 outdoor zones to fill. Each zone will have a pair of Definitive AW6500 weatherproof speakers. AudioControl Architech 1260 and Parasound Zone Master 1250 are the same cost. Which should I go with?

I just switched to AudioControl and using their Director Matrix amps.  Received my first two amps last week and have them on the bench testing IP control.

So far I'm impressed.  Tech support has also been great with quick answers to all my questions.

Both are great, but different products. For your project, I'd probably go for the AC.

How many speakers? The Parasound can handle lower impedance and more speakers (has two sets of connectors for each channel), has 12V triggers for each channel and the layout makes a bit more sense (IMO), but both are very good amplifiers.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

Not a bad choice either way. I like Parasound, and use one of their two channel amps. Is one easier to get than the other? Maybe time for a pragmatic choice..

Both are great products. A doubt you would be disappointed in either company.
I have used both and have been using AC for the last couple of years
