Uverse boxes in our area do a strange thing:
With a custom controller only 1 key can be used then you can't repeat it. For example, If you want Ch 55 and press 5 then another 5, the 2nd 5 key will not respond. The box only accepts the first 5. The factory remote works just fine of course. The uverse boxes in our area all use the same codes, so, trying different codesets does the exact same thing.

What I've done to troubleshoot:

1) Learned the factory remote - same thing
2) Tried numerous different uverse boxes in the ProControl library - same thing
3) Foul language - same thing

Any thoughts on where to start with this?

It is called a toggle IR. There is a .pdf tech tip on the Pro Control website on how to program that.

Add another set of codes that you already learned. So in your learned library you will have 2 of each button, 1 & 1b, 2 & 2b on so on. Now make each button a macro and then add the toggle a/b command and insert both codes inside the a/b command.
