As a fellow West Seattleite I am truly sorry to hear that. For the most part it has been a quiet place with only a single break in in 16 years. Hopefully the gentrification of Rat City will help.

How do you loose tools and products? I understand you can lose them.

Thanks for the grammar catch... My grammar and spelling are usually good, but not always a high priority when typing a quick response on the message board.

Tools only and nothing overly critical... hand tools, a couple of power tools, consumables and a couple of meters.

West Seattle is supposed to be a nice part of town.  Kind of odd to steel something so well marked and big. Hope you have great insurance though that never covers lost time.

Did anyone from your crew leave a cell phone in the truck? If so track it.

That's a slight shorthand and slightly archaic way of saying giving them their freedom. They're all normal and they want their freedom!

etymonline.com says
c. 1200, lousen, "to set free, turn loose," also "undo, untie, unfasten," from loose (adj.). Of arrows from c. 1400. Related: Loosed; loosing.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Here is a picture link for the Van. It is on Google Photos which does not allow URLs unfortunately...

Drive by all the drywall and painting contractors in the area. Also call body shops. They may be dumb enough to hire someone to remove the graphics.

Recovered 5 blocks from where it was stolen. They popped the passenger lock and the ignition, drove it a few blocks, cleaned out the power tools and split.

The number on the van helped. A very nice lady called us before reporting the rig.
