I thought someone post once that its possible to send commands to wattbox to reset outlets. Does anyone have the commands and instructions on how to do that?

Go to the SnapAV site and read about OverC- it's the app for cycling the outlets. What can be done depends on the model but as long as it's on a working network, you can control it.

No, I want send commands from a control system. I want to put a button on the remote to reboot Roku when Netflix isn’t working. I don’t want the customer to have to go to another device. I can do this with bluebolt

RTI has an IP driver for the Wattbox that allows for individual cycling of any/all outlets.

They have IP control and provide a driver/module for most control systems.

It is a simple HTTP method using XML, I don't even think there is any real security other than the user/pass that the web interface has

I'm doing this with URC Total Control using the provided driver, but I dn't think I've ever seen an integration doc for the Wattbox stuff.

Contact SnapAV to see if they will provide you with the info.

It's stupid simple with URC. The driver in the DB has the outlets listed by number, and has on, off, and reset. I usually put a reset on a button within each cable box on the system. I do a 3 second press and hold before the command to reset will be sent. Works great.

There is not a driver built for the control system I use. Can I send one way commands to the wattbox? I thought someone had said before that it is possible

The Web API for WattBox is on the SnapAV Web site. This is from that document:

Control Outlet Command
Your complete packet request consists of the request as shown:

"GET control.cgi?outlet=<#>&command=<#> HTTP/1.1"CRLF
"Host:" CRLF
"Keep-Alive: 300"CRLF
"Connection: keep-alive"CRLF
"Authorization: Basic" CRLF
"User-Agent: APP"CRLFCRLF

The variable characters are described below.

Outlet Number:
• When entering an outlet number, 0 selects all outlets, and only supports the reset command.
• Otherwise select the numeral that matches the outlet number desired.
• WB-300-IP-3 therefore supports outlet numbers 0–3.
• WB-700-IPV-12 supports outlet numbers 0–12.

Command Number:
• 0: power off
• 1: power on
• 3: power reset (available only when outlet is already on)
• 4: auto reboot on
• 5: auto reboot off

Example, to reset outlet 1, use the command:
control.cgi?outlet=1&command=3

To create the authorization code, concatenate the account name, a colon, and the account password, then use base64 encoding
to create a string. For example, if the account is admin and the password is 1234, then take the string admin:1234 and encode
it with base64. This gets you the string YWRtaW46MTIzNA==, which is your authorization.
If it's not simple, it's not sufficiently advanced.

Has anyone successfully controlled one of these with On Controls / iRule?

I've been trying to get the commands formatted right for a couple hours and am not having any luck. I even tried some packet capturing to examine what the web interface is doing when it's controlling it.
