hi there,

for smaller more basic systems, we would install our hikvision 8 channel nvr inside an open house 36" structured panel. but hikvision changed the size of their nvrs so we have a little problem fitting them into a structured panel.

for our medium to upper projects, our nvrs would live inside the av rack.

any suggestions for the smaller systems?

Thanks!

I see them in hallway closets quite often.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

I ordered one of these for the first time this week and LOVED it. Ships and folds up flat, adjustable depth, and perfect for an analog/TVI system with 2RU power supply like an Altronix, one blank space for separation to keep transformer magnets away from the hard drive, then two spaces left for a custom rackshelf for and DVR. $70 on Amazon.

I just looked up the specs on the 2 nvr's.
One is 15x12 and the other is 17x11.

Either way, turn it sideways inside the can and you have 2 or 3" for connections.
