I haven't been around much but thought I would see what Bruce was posting lately and looks like nothing for a year or so.  Last time I looked he was maybe moving to Mexico, if anyone knows post it here or message me.

Bruce and I worked on some very big jobs back in the day and he was always an interesting character, never mean, just a different prespective.

Don’t say Beetlejuice’s name outloud!
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.

Not exactly how I would describe the illness but fair enough! :)

Maybe he is partying at Jesse Ventura's compound down in Mexico with the Deadliest Catch crew.

I'm pretty sure he retired so who knows.

He might be re-cooping in one of those Liberal padded rooms after the last election (Joke)
We stood on different sides of the fence politically but I always wanted to swing up to Seattle, buy him dinner and a few drinks, and just shoot the shit about life in general for some reason.

When I was 12-13,I started buying drivers and crossover parts from a company he worked for at that time.
Speaker something. I can't remember the name now,but they had some good sounding drivers and I enjoyed learning about building enclosures to the specs they provided.

I know he stepped on a few toes here, mine as well, but I still wanted to meet the guy.

Met him, broke bread, had some beers a couple times when he was at Madrona Digital.

I can say this much, he is a decent dude and knows a ton of people here in Liberal Pucking Hell.

I can also say he is not nearly the liar everyone attempted to make him out to be.
I have had confirmation on many of his doings from different sources.

I will not go into specifics on any of this, but lets just say if we all climbed out from behind our keyboards and got together for a BBQ, we would all get on just fine.

I'm sorry you never had the chance for that beer, you would have enjoyed the conversation.

SpeakerLab closed a while ago but the owner (Tom Hall of Cello, Seattle) came out with the speakers  again but had to use the name Speaker Lab.  (And you can tell there is quite the back story to this one sentence)  Does anyone remember Cello, the Via of it's time?

I had a next door neighbor who bought a pair of Klipschhorns in kit form that I am pretty sure were from there. No ordinary speaker, but a folded horn design that somehow produced the equivalent of a 24 foot long horn for extended bass. (Double check me on the 24). They stood approximately 3 feet tall and very wide. Inside was a labyrinth, where the woofer was fully inside the cabinet, facing forward, but all the sound came out the sides towards the back wall.

The crazy thing was that the neighbor used a hand saw for all the plywood cuts. And it was perfectly executed.

There was a "cello" in aspen colorado in the 90's. Is that what you're referring too?

The problem with that is the fact that Stan sent out a lot of VERY nasty messages to many people on here.

He went way around the bend...
