I am looking for a wireless sensor that can be integrated with Elan. Either z-wave or a some way to put a contact sensor on a wireless receiver. I’ve found several wireless driveway sensors, but they only have audio chimes on their receivers. And after I unsuccessfully attempted to hack a wireless doorbell, I figured those won’t work.

we use dakota alerts. but ripped out ALL motion and went with magnetic sensors. Otherwise, motion went off way too much. There is a laser beam one two. Gonna try that soon. Im sure you can turn off sound on the dakota alert. Use the contact out and pop it into elan (we use total control but im sure elan can do the same).
Looking at the beam one because storms cause the magnet sensor to go off and off and off and off.
