Whether they're work related or not....

I wonder how many of you are about to laugh at me. I just got my first smartphone. (OMG!!!) Yeah. Work issued iPhone SE.

Aside from things like Sonos/Nuvo, alarm.com, etc, are there any other apps, especially free ones, that help you in any way on the job? What about apps that are just cool and/or fun to have?

Thanks!
Everyone should learn something new every day.

Did you ever try the search button here? Just thinkin'.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

iGrill, Dish Anywhere, Scoutbook, MobilePatrol.

OK, most of those may be a little specific to my needs, but MobilePatrol is always fun.

Studio six digital Audio Tools = not free though. I think $20

Light meter= lux and foot candle measurement tool. Good if you do projector systems to get an idea of the amount of ambient light or quick projector measurements

Any apps from brands of equipment you carry i.e. Yamaha, Marantz, URC, Control 4, etc.

If you never had a smart phone and if you travel then Uber, Lyft.

Airline apps for airlines you use

Tiny Scanner Pro. Lets you take a picture of any document and turns it into a PDF. There is a free version and the Pro cost 5 bucks. The pro version lets you upload the PDF directly to Dropbox, Google Drive, and One Drive.
If you are going to do the job...why not do it the right way?

My list is for Android... you know, the master race :)

Merriam-Webster
Wikipedia
Conversion [flosoft]
MElectrician
ElectroDroid
Fing
Speedtest [Ookla - paid version]
inSSIDer
Compass [Smart Tools]
Sound Meter (for quick dirty check - not to calibrate with)
MyRadar Weather [paid version]
Firefox
Sky Map
Car Buying [Kelly Blue Book]
eBay
Zillow
DaTuner Lite (for musical instruments)
Torque Pro
SatFinder Lite & SatFinder Tool
CCTV apps (several)
Manufacture apps (SONOS, HEOS, ROKU, Alexa, Lutron, dozens more...)
Google apps (Maps, Gmail, Drive, Translate, Calculator, etc.)
Music apps (Pandora, Spotify, dozens more...) + an SD card with songs in lossless & high-rez audio.
Video apps (Netflix, Vudu, Amazon, YouTube, dozens more...)

... I have 120 apps total now and growing... What did we ever do before smart phones LOL!!!
I don't put games on my devices.
I take full advantage of making folders to organize everything in. Something I rarely see anyone else do. When you have 100+ apps just thrown across several screens, how the hell are you going to find anything? I only need to use 2 screens for everything.
Oh, and mobile security is very important these days. I use ESET, same as I use for my laptops & PCs.
