Have no idea what you are talking about. It sounds substantially better than any other "over the air" service available in any cars/trucks I've had. I like S/XM and listen to it mostly in the van, but hate the costs. Its ridiculous they do a per radio rate and not a flat fee for an account, for both standard radios and streaming.
It sounds like and extremely compressed low bit rate Mp3 to me, instant irratation.
I hear it instantly even in home systems, I can walk into a room and know its XM instantly, and it sucks because I like the programming material and was so excited back in its infancy, was hoping for a little Higher Fi.
