Anyone ever setup Sonos on a VPN to control it off-site? I have a commercial property that has three different network across the campus with a sonos on each network and no way to connect the three different network with a wire.

I have a VPN setup and can VPN in to the remote networks and ping the Sonos devices, but the controller doesn't see them.

Any ideas?

I believe the controller finds the Sonos units via SSDP, which I imagine your VPN is not setup to carry across the links.
If it's not simple, it's not sufficiently advanced.

That would very much depend on many details of the VPN hardware, software and configuration.

Are you looking to get access to each network remotely (individually) or looking to have all Sonos's across the three different networks show up in the app at once, like its all one system?

if you have a PC onsite you can use Teamviewer. VPN should allow you to use the desktop software on your PC or you can use the remote PC Desktop app when you log in.

Obviously all three at once would be ideal, but client isn't picky. It could be seperate. ie - connect vpn, control pool Sonos then connect vpn control gym Sonos.
