I have a customer that has a mozaex movie server. He's had it for a few years. The player crashed back during the spring. After going round and round through email, I finally got them to agree to let me send it in for a repair. But now that I have it back, it won't connect to the server. Used to I could call their tech support and have someone log into the system and help with issues. Now they have NO phone support. It's all handled via email. Their response was to send me a link to the 96 page manual.

I realize that this product is almost dead in the US. Most of their market is now over seas. But for all of you that still have a request for movie servers, in the US or overseas, DONT USE MOZAEX!

Amen. Kscape or nothing when anyone asks me about movie servers. Sounds like what we went through with a few Escient systems after they tanked.

I think most of you have read how I feel about Fusion. Mozaex makes me want to buy Ingo a great steak and double Blantons.

Mozaex appears to no longer be in business. The owner told me that he has no one who can provide tech support. I sold a system to client and it failed in warranty. but no support from Mozaex. Wold love to discuss with anyone who has insite on how to repair these.

Basically, it’s a windows media server. Find an IT guy that knows windows inside and out and you should be good. If you can’t find one, I may have an option. I eventually found a local guy that looked at a Mozaex server as a side job for me. When he got into the system, he found some of their BIOs settings to be a joke. I can ask him if he’s interested in taking on other servers, but his rate is about $175 an hour.
