It's nice when technology works, FOR US!!
I received an email from my Unifi Controller that a clients waps were off line. So I checked on the Unifi app and could see two were down and all wireless clients were on the one wap left. I jumped to the OvrC app and rebooted the two waps, went back to Unifi app and now they're on line!! Sweet when it's that easy.
I never got a call from the client. I took before and after screenshots of the waps and sent to client. At least he knows the yearly network admin charge is worth it!!

Love it.
How much is the "yearly network admin charge"?
I need to start doing it too.

I just finished configuring an Apple TV in Florida...from my home office near Chicago. I also tested all of the other video sources and ran an IP scan to make sure everything else is online.

This looks like a great thing.

I service clientele in the city and on the coast, but live rurally (about 1-1.5 hours away from a lot of them).

I've just enquired about an overseas application, so it'll be interesting to see how it goes.

Thanks for the tip!

P.S. Mario, those codes didn't end-up working, so it looks like we've got a different codeset over here in Australia. :(

OvrC is made my job so much less stressful.

Getting 3am notifications for auto reboots on modems etc is far better then a 7am "Our internet is not working" phone calls from clients.

One of my clients for some random reason that I cannot pin down loses internet access every morning. I have replaced the modem and router, neither fixed it.

So I set the Wattbox to reboot the modem and router every day at 4am. No more phone calls about outages.
I am a trained professional..... Do not attempt this stunt at home.

For most ISP modem/routers and Apple, we have it reboot every Sunday at 3:00 A.M.. I really don't know if this helps but I was told it clears out "build up".
Overall, I rarely get calls "that the WiFi isn't working". If I do I've already got a message from OvrC or Unifi controller and tell them to call the ISP and check, BEFORE I come out.

Sorry to hear that.
Contact them directly (website form).
That's what I did. Took them few weeks to get back to me, but when they did, they've included that Excel file.

I put a Wattbox in at every UniFi networking project.

Best thing ever. Only thing is Ovrc is limited in setting up the Wattbox not like the UniFi app. But once its up and running its a great device.

Has anyone tried bluebolt solutions? How is it in comparison.

I tried the real early Bluebolt, very primitive. Once I started using OvrC I never looked elsewhere. It works, why rock the boat. They seem to always keep the app updated with new relevant options!!!
