We've got a job where we want to have a PS4 accessable in both the living room and bedroom.

All other sources are in the rack distributed via a matrix which we could do with the PS4 but the controller uses bluetooth, which only has a range of about 5m.

I have in the past upgraded the ariel on the PS4 which gives you about 10m range, but this still isnt enough. amp;ab_channel=KentuckyRanger">(video for details on that here)

Does anyone have a novel work around for this, is there something on the market like a PS4 bluetooth reciever that can sit behind the TV and be cabled back to the PS4 over cat6 ?

short of doing them local there is just no good way todo this. I have my PS4 in the basement directly below my living room on top of the rack. It has a hard time picking things up from my controller.

Im redoing our living room so it will be moved back up, but until construction is completed its unplayable. i am half curious about the antenna mod you linked too, but the problem is its still bluetooth.

What stops you from just having 2 PS4's (located locally)? Not enough inputs on the matrix?

What about centrally (between the 2 video zones outside of the control room) locating the PS4 in the house? You would need to use extenders to route signals back to the control room but that might solve your range issue and also help deal with the issue of how far you have to walk for loading a game/move disc.
