Im setting out a new rack and wanted some input on where the hardware should be distributed. Ive created a rack diagram in the link below in a google sheets, if you'd like to edit the rack diagram please feel free to duplicate the spreadsheet and re share. Ive kept the hottest items away from each other. Ive also left perhaps to much room between certain devices eg. blank plates either side of the control system controller and control system I/O devices which dont get very hot. Any inputs appreciated. Shared diagram in google sheets : [Link: docs.google.com]

How I usually do my racking.
Network Switch Controller Music Sources DA Preamp DA Amp Matrix Switch House Video Sources Theater Sources Theater Receiver or Preamp Theater Amp (if necessary) Subwoofer Amp (if necessary) Power Unit (Panamax BlueBolt) w/ vertical rack power bars.
With blanks in between.
I have all Cat lines fed into keystone patch panel at the top of the rack facing the rear. All speaker wires feed directly to amps.

Heaver equipment like amps and UPS at the bottom, and lighter equipment as we work our way up. However, the AVR should be at the top of the heavy stuff so you can read the front panel without laying on the ground.
Keep audio and video sources together if possible. If the cabinet is adequately cooled, the stacking due to heat shouldn't be a big issue.
it's like a painting, everyone's is going to be a little different, even if you are trying to replicate the same image. And, each one will get better. Post pictures.

From top to bottom Power management Security NVR/DVR Network (modem, router, ap controller, switch(es) Sources (streaming, cable/sat/audio) Control system processor/controllers AVR House audio controllers/amplifiers UPS (if specced).
If I am doing more then one rack, sources go in one along with AVRs. House audio, control system and network in the other.

Same as others. FYI, rack spaces are counted from bottom up. Get used to it now and you'll be better off going forward. Yes, I realize that many racks have space labeling going both ways.
