I used to have something similar to this.

During the summer, it might be a bit warm. I'm not big on under shirts. But in the winter it wasnt bad at all. For a Shield, it's perfect. it will work with the XDM too. The nice part is it works with about any shirt you want to wear.

I have seen those but never considered that. I'm on the skinnier side and I think it would stink out the front or back. That's why I can only carry 4 o'clock or apendix, not side.

Have you seen this holster? Being skinny, it may work well. I haven't ordered one because I'm not skinny and don't know if it would work for me.

I bought a stealthgear iwb for my little Sig 938. love it. Bought a wallet holster for my ruger lcp, hate the trigger on the ruger, doesn't let you ride the reset. I don't like a holster while using a tool pouch, but I feel weird leaving it in my toolbag when I'm in someone else's house and the bag isn't with me 100% of the time.

But, for ccw, I wear a bowling type short sleeve button down or a polo untucked. I prefer a smaller frame for carry. If 7 rounds plus an extra mag isn't enough then I'm screwed. My Sig m11-a1 is my favorite for owb carry, actually my favorite bottom line, but anything smaller than a true compact I find cumbersome.
Hey, careful man, there's a beverage here!
