I'll be at CEDIA this year for the first time in many years and would be interested to hear some really good theater demos.

Any advice on who to seek out to see and hear something that's really well put together?

James usually has a really nice one. DBL was nice too.

Always very underwhelmed by JBL

Dynaudio / Datasat - Cinema Master Theater Experience. Let me get some solid info for you regarding tickets.

I'll be at the show, and I was pretty involved with certain parts of this setup. Just finished the 2 minute intro video they will be showing before the demonstration.

Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...

I don't know, were they using a line doubler and a CRT projector?

JBL Synthesis, Wisdom Audio, Pro Audio Technologies all seem to deliver every year.

I believe Pro Audio will be demoing with Trinnov. I just wrapped up a theater with this combo and it kicked ass.

Steinway usually has a good demo, last year in Dallas was meh unfortunately.

I forget who DataSat is partnering with this year, but they usually have an amazing demo.

Since CEDIA the organisation has sold off CEDIA the trade show, is anyone expecting the show to be any better? We skipping this year - too much work and have no interest wasting the time and $$s to travel to somewhere like California.
I came into this game for the action, the excitement. Go anywhere, travel light, get in, get out, wherever there's AV trouble, a man alone.

Yea, Houston would have been a much better option. Even without all the water.
