So does your wife accuse you of being lazy(she knows I'm not) for using the dish washer instead of doing dishes by hand? Ask her why she is not doing laundry in a tub and hanging it to dry. That is the sound of a woman's mouth shutting.

Or, tell her to make her own soap and go to the river, clean the clothes by beating them on a boulder and when she's done, she can milk the cows, throw the hay up to the mow and whitewash the fence.

I've never in my life seen a woman's mouth shut during a fight. Especially not in a good way. No matter what defense you use, she always has something that you don't remember, from 15 years ago, ready to pull out and hit you with. You can't defend against it because you can't even remember if it's correct, or if it even happened. But she has all the details about it, like Rainman recalling an underwear shopping trip to Kmart.

And for the record, mine doesn't complain at all when dishes manically get put in the dishwasher. I say magically because she's convinced that if she didn't load them, elves had to sneak into the house at night and clean up whatever mess the kids and I left in the kitchen sink.

I wash dishes by hand all the time, She probably has a good point.

Everyone has a Sink where it can actually take 10-20 seconds to clean off a plate or glass.

Nobody has a wash tub and laundry line in their home nowadays.

The one's who wants their laundry rinsed, and hopefully dried, with all the wind after the rain storm.

I grew up with my mom putting everything on the clothesline to dry. She still uses it. Have you ever tried to put on a pair of blue jeans that have been on the clothes line? They are stiff as a damn board.

And I bet you, that you don’t suffer from hay fever, cut lawn or any of those kinds of allergies huh? Because your body was exposed to larger than normal amounts of that as compared to you actually playing outside with drier machine dried clothes.

Same with towels, but I find drying mostly on the line and finishing in a dryer works well.

As a newlywed, Fins made me LOL....she brought up something like 3 months after we met that I swear it came from out of no where. I also was in the dog house the other night....

Long story short, we both work and have weird hours. When she comes home she usually starts cooking. I get home not to much after she begins and she ALWAYS apologizes for not having dinner ready (I seriously could care less) I tell her all the time it's ok it doesn't matter.....well on Monday I had a shit ass day, came home tired and hungry but in a joking mood. Well I walked in, said hey babe and asked if dinner was ready in a completely joking manor because she always apologizes.....WHOOO that did not go over well!
