One may get into trouble if there are multiple IR receivers.

By the way, there is an "IR Repeater" option for PLAYBAR. This option allows IR commands to be repeated out the back of the unit when placement of PLAYBAR blocks the TV's IR sensor.

Is it in the Playbar's settings menu or what?

I think that option only exists when the Playbar is placed on a cabinet not when wall mounted. I just looked on my own playbar, which is wall mounted and that option does not exist.

On my last TC job I used only IP with Sonos driver to control playbars and playbase. I did have some issues where after about a week the vol could no longer be controlled via TC. Have the MRX10 connected to a wattbox and then set to reboot every week and has been fine. It also could have been an issue using actual IP addresses for Sonos, in TC even though it says when using DHCP reservation you can use the real IP addresses. After making that change I haven't removed the auto reboot so don't know if using fake IP's corrected it or not. Maybe I'll stop it and see what happens.

If you don't want to use IP than just do no emmiter. Customers still point the remote at the tv. I hated the look of the emmiter on the front so I just do IR bow 🤷🏼‍♂️
Knowing that Gold went up a few K makes me think "well now I have to do a better job on selling more equipment".
