Photobucket has changed their policy and won't allow 3rd party hosting (embedded images on other sites) any more unless you pay $39 a month. Does anyone know of an alternative?

You could get a free wordpress.com site and upload images there...then copy the URL and paste it here. https://wordpress.com/

If you have your own website, you could use this to host your images. Since I'm not here to drive traffic, I would not use this option.

Fins,
shoot me an email I'll hook your wordpress site up for you, host it and send you a video on how to upload photos/videos if you decide to go that route.

How easy would it be to upload images from a mobile device? One thing about Photobucket is I could upload directly with their app

+1 imgur

Dropbox has worked for me, for this purpose, a while ago, though haven't tried it recently.

I think 3rd party hosting is also against the rules with imgur, so while it might work now... there's a good chance they'll kill the functionality at some point in the future like Photobucket did.

I'd been using Photobucket for forum photos for over 10 years and they shut my account down a few weeks ago.  I'd be willing to pay $10-$20 monthly to keep the photo content alive, but $39 per month seems like too much.

Imgur is sure not as simple to figure out. The Photobucket app is much more friendly

I tried to use Dropbox for this and it doesn't work.

My Photobucket acct is still ok, but don't know for how long.
