On site. Owner furnished TV and Mount. First rodeo with the LG OLED65B7P. Mounting holes are so low, the mount sits below bottom of TV. Why such a small bolt pattern on it? I have a snap art2l on its way from the shop to try. What a lame design. I have some doubts about the Snap Mount working as well but worth a shot. If they did not want an articulating Mount, it would be easy, but nope.

Don't put an oled on an arm. Someone will snap the glass

Or sell a motorized mount, Future Automation has some great options. We just did a Sony OLED on a FA and it works great.

Ha. The ART2L worked fine. I have a Razor but it in pieces at another job where I ended up not needing it but was short on time so I left it there. :P

There is little risk of them breaking this TV (on accident anyhow). First of all, I doubt they will ever pull it out because it is not in a place that it would need to be pulled out. I did not ask why they bought the articulating mount from Costco in the first place. I just sold them a more expensive one because it works. :)

Secondly, It is up high enough, and they are short enough, that they will be pulling it out from the bottom...the fat part....it should all be that fat if you ask me....stop making the top half like a tortilla!!

It is done, they are happy, and I got paid. That is all that matters on a Friday.

There is probably more risk of them melting it with the fireplace. :)

I am still stumped as to why they would use a 400x200 pattern on a 65" TV. The ART2L barely fit that spread. Engineers....meh.

what the hell kind of arms are you guys putting them on? i would say there is virtually no risk of snapping them on a good arm with tension adjusted properly. ESPECIALLY if you are not a dumb ass and use the bottom half to do the moving. either way, we have only installed on arms. chief TS and snap razor art 2. they are perfect.

Most customers are dumbasses. And cheaper mounts usually have dual arm designs which make them more difficult to move. I could easily see the customer's kid grab an OLED by the top corner and yank it around and snap the glass

I wish I did not have an NDA and was able to post pictures, it came out pretty bad ass. It is on stone over a pizza oven of all things. The house has 31 TV's and over 40 zones of audio as well...

I hate NDA's I have only had a few really enforce them. the above pictures are from one of the wealthiest family's in Arkansas. They could give two shits i post pictures on my facebook page or forums, with no name attached!

When the mantles are installed, we are having it professionally shot. It is a gorgeous house.

I've only done one OLED on a mount so far. Unfortunately we didn't plan for it at the beginning of the project and had no idea of how the TVs are designed, so there was no pocket built to recess it. It's the LG with the flip up stand/base on a tilt Mount on a wall. It looks like a turd on a wall if you look from the side. Fortunately, the client has art work and artifacts hung on the wall around the TV to block someone from really seeing behind it.

Hmmm, have done a few Sony AE1s now (all on articulating arms) and I doubt anyone is going to snap the glass..

I use the Chief Thinstall mounts though I doubt it would matter.

Be sure to include a shot or two showing it from the front. Not many pictures from the side and back mean anything without showing what it looks like to a person walking into the room or actually watching the TV.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
