Does any one have a point of view on SurgeX vs Aten for managed PDUs ?

Ideally im looking for something with IP control, Surge protection and device monitoring / pinging.

Surgex doesnt have an iPhone app. So I don't use them

ZeroSurge had the patent to series mode protection, and SurgeX was the major licensee, but now the patent protection has lapsed.

Middle Atlantic and others offer series mode units.

We sell Middle Atlantic's units like mad.

Same story... These all have SNMP and are all on the Domotz preferred PDU list, so management is a matter of using a proper remote management platform.
