Quoting a some upgrades for a returning house (client passed away, new homeowner).
Replacing existing analog cameras with TVI. I cannot remember is if a TVI/Turbo HD DVR can accept an standard def analog camera. There is one in an entry station that has to stay, no TVI or IP solution exists.
I swear I have quoted a similar system, just cannot remember if I need a tribrid NVR or if I can just do a TVI one and have the old cam work on it. No IP cameras are going to be added.
I should know the answer to this, getting old I guess.
Thanks in advance.

Most all the Hikvision based DVRs will do HD-TVI & analog. This is a vendor specific question. You need to look at your spec sheets for the brand you plan on using and make sure.

Speco TVI models do either TVI or standard video.
