I'd been trying to figure out what model of echo has a modem included in it.

WHy would a land line, phone or modem need to be involved? Alexa has your home address. Amazons internal system could call the authorities. So not sure why all the concern about a phone?

The concerning part is Alexas was not triggered to be listening by using the phrase work. That clearly shows she is listening when you dont think she is. IF the story is true at all. Amazon claims its not possible.

Why would this be bad? As Americans we aeem perfectly happy to have government monitor us all for criminal activity to keep us safe. Both Bush and Obama support it and i assume Trump since he hasnt done anything to reverse it.

Alexa is a hero.

And how would you suggest we force Congress to change this? They haven't listened to most of what we have asked for, in decades. Other than anything that will get them reelected, that is.

I want to hear the 911 audio.

Is it “Alexa’s voice” or just the audio from the panic girl friend or a combo of both?

Vote for the other candidate at every election until it changes.

"In the recording, you can hear her screaming, 'Alexa, call 911,'" said the department's public information officer, Felicia Romero.

Only problem with this, is the choices we have. It's always "Choose the lesser of two evils."...

Term limits might help. At least then, the scum wouldn't become a lifelong problem.

Removing the "royalty" perks might help as well. Make it a bit less desirable what with having to obey the same rules, have the same medical care, etc, etc, could also make a difference.

Eliminating PAC's in their entirety might help too. No more selling their vote to the PAC that gives the best vacations, etc, etc.

I meant to mention this last night. I decided to see what would happen and asked Alexa to call 911. The response was "I'm sorry I can't do that. Please call 911 from a mobile or landline."

I also tried "call the police" and "call for help". Alexa couldn't understand.

And when you had the chance to do your part to make America great again, you voted for the dynasty. Hypocrite.

He needs to turn it on and then say "Alexa, call Heidi Klum.".

Think it will work?
